Vitkovice Steel team.Nathan has been a member of Blacktown Flyers Ice Hockey Club since he was 7 years old. He travelled to Czech Republic at the age of 13 to pursue his hockey dream, and it now
appears that this dream may become a reality.Since 2007 Nathan has divided his time between playing hockey in the Czech Republic with HC Vitkovice Steel and Australia. Where possible, Nathan always jumped at the
opportunity to put his Flyers jersey back on and play as many games as possible with his Flyers team mates. At the recent Spengler Cup in Davos, Switzerland Nathan scored 2 goals and 1 assist for his team HC Vitkovice Steel finishing the tournament with a total of 3 points. His
first goal of the tournament was against team Canada and former NHL goaltender Marty Turco. Not bad for a "kid" from Australia!Nathan was recently ranked 7th in Czech draft, however after his performance in Davos he has risen to the number 2 spot. Nathan has also been elevated to 21st best
European-based skater for the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau.Nathan's Flyers family are extremely proud of his achievements and we are very excited to see what 2012 will bring for this talented young man.We look forward to catching up with him on his return to Australia during his off season.Good luck Stormy!
